An opportunity to hear from one of the leading thinkers on basic income Guy Standing, at this year's Festival of Debate in Sheffield.

Guy Standing is co-founder of the Basic Income Earth Network and economic advisor to John McDonnell, Shadow Chancellor of the Exchequer, who has been leading a working group exploring the feasibility of a Universal Basic Income (UBI) in the UK on behalf of the Labour Party. 

At this event Standing will present his findings, along with details from his book published in 2017 Basic Income: And How We Can Make It Happen.
