The Welsh Focus Inaugural Conference will be taking place at the Plas Hyfryd Hotel, Narberth, Pembrokeshire on Wednesday 4 April, 2012.

Six months' work has seen Welsh Focus grow in range and reach to the extent that this day will be a gathering of prominent speakers with an opportunity to meet and network with all kinds of key players.

Welsh Focus are campaigning for change. In the New Age of Austerity Welsh Focus believes that investment in people with regard to accessibilty issues can bring long term benefits for everyone.

At a time when there are so many critical economic and practical questions for communities right across the country, together with questions about the whole future of social cohesion, we see an opportunity to promote ways of doing things that can shed new light on issues that are relevant to all sections of society.

On Wednesday 4 April 2012, in Narberth Welsh Focus will be showing you what they are doing and inviting you to find out more about issues that are vitally important to the future for disabled people right across Wales. More details are available on the Welsh Focus website.

"We hope that you will join us in a day of celebration, calibration and continuous revolution in the campaign to support disabled people. We have started as we mean to go on. Disabled people forming common cause, meeting together with an agenda for change. We are all in search of access to a better life. By working together we are making things happen."
