Les Monaghan at Brighton Photo Fringe

Congratulations to Les Monaghan who has been selected as this year's Brighton Photo Fringe OPEN18 Participate artist for his project ‘We Are All Connected’.

This year Brighton Photo Fringe (BPF) has adopted the loose theme of ‘Photography Changes Everything’. Les's work will be exhibited on its Outdoor Hub (approx 80 ft of wall space) and will involve as many local people as possible.

He said, on his selection:

“I want to show the human and personal connections that spread out from one homeless person on a Brighton street. I want to change how he is seen, how we see ourselves, and how we are only a few steps from each other.”

Les is a Fellow of the Centre and has written about his ongoing photography project documenting poverty here

OPEN18 Participate launches on Saturday 29 September and runs until Saturday 28 October.
