Who cares? Policy proposals for the reform of long-term care

The case for the reform of long-term care using self-directed support.

Author: Jon Glasby

The current social care system is a mess - morally and practically. This paper outlines how self-directed support could be used as the framework for a more intelligent and helpful reform of the current system. It also underlines the case for an effectively funded and fair system, as imposed to the current approach which is both unjust and confusing.
